Step 1: Use The Right Words. (Keywords)

Do not use general words like “photographer.” Be specific.

  1. Think like your client. What would they type into Google?

  2. Put those words on your website. On your homepage. On your service pages.

  3. Make your page titles clear. “Denver Wedding Photography | Your Name.”

This tells Google who you help.

Step 2: Fix Your Photos. (Image SEO)

Google cannot see your photos. You must tell Google what they are. Most photographers miss this. It’s easy.

Do these three things for every image:

  1. File Name: Change “IMG_1234.jpg” to “sunset-beach-wedding-couple-miami.jpg”.

  2. Alt Text: Describe the photo. “Bride and groom laughing during sunset portrait on Miami Beach by [Your Name].”

  3. Make Files Smaller: Use a free tool like Smush. Small files make your site faster. Google likes fast sites.
